William Slout was the CEO of Keystone Motors. He was a friend of Jay and Joan Garrick.
History
A party held by Slout on his yacht was targeted by the bomber, and disgruntled former Keystone Moters employee, Luke Thatcher. When the attack was averted by the Griffin, Slout awarded the new hero with a $100,000 check.[1]
