The Winathians hail from the planet Winath, which was one of the Buffer Planets seeded by Valor, after the Dominator invasion of Earth.
History
The planets were between Dominion space and Earth to form a buffer against any future attacks.
Due to the Dominators' genetic engineering all the people born on the planet share a peculiar trait of being born twins. The vast majority of births on Winath are fraternal twins and singleton births are very rare, and generally pitied.
Winath is the homeworld of Legionnaires Lightning Lad and Lightning Lass, who are twins, as well as their older sibling, the supervillain Lightning Lord who grew up feeling an outcast being born a singleton.
