Wink is a metahuman capable of teleporting anywhere in sight.
History
Wink was the lover of the metahuman called Aerie who carried her for three days straight to the Quraci fortress of Jotunheim, in order to keep her protected. As they neared it, soldiers under the command of Raza Kattuah and Manticore fired at them, since no one was allowed in, but Wink safely teleported herself and them inside.[1]
Aerie requested the fortress' defenders to let them stay there as they flew for days, promising any help in return. Wink meanwhile warned that she could have simply teleported them outside. Later, Manticore asked them to find their missing affiliates Nightshade and Hyve, but Wink asked him to let Aerie rest for some more time.[1]
The Aerie however agreed to find Manticore's affiliates and while searching for them, noticed something on the horizon about which they informed Wink. It turned out to be a horde of Anti-Living, including Black Adam, coming in their direction. Wink however teleported them in time before Adam could land a hit on them. Grabbing their partner, Aerie tells her about the horde and flies back to Jotunheim to warn its defenders.[1]
After telling Raza and Manticore about the coming horde, Aerie advised to flee but Raza disagreed. Wink told them to fly to the Aegean Sea where they could reach Themyscira and get other heroes to help them. She then told Raza to get the soldiers to fire at Adam, allowing her to teleport him inside the mountain Jotunheim was built into while he charged towards the fortress. As the Anti-Living made their way inside when Nightshade opened a portal, Adam cracked the mountain in half to free himself. The defenders were however saved when Wonder Woman arrived to save Jotunheim from falling.[2]
Raza held off the horde of the Anti-Living while others barricaded themselves, but Wink teleported him away as she was unwilling to let him sacrifice himself. Hawkman, Hawkgirl and Wonder Woman pushed all the Anti-Living back into Nightshade's portal, trapping them in the Land of the Nightshades temporarily. She reunited with Aerie as the Green Lantern Dinah Lance took Jotunheim away to safety.[3] She and Aerie later started staying at the Fortress of Solitude along with other survivors.[4]
The League later moved the survivors to Poison Ivy's garden in Gotham City. Learning that the Anti-Living horde led by Black Adam was going to assault it, Wink agreed with Lex Luthor's plan to lure them through Nightshade's portal in the Land of the Nightshades, with the help of the Pied Piper, even if it meant that both will die.[5]
Aerie went into the portal after Wink, just as the horde finished stepping through it, and told her that they would die with her if that was the only way to stop the infected. As Wink told them the plan of killing Nightshade, the Aerie went to find her themselves and soon brought her before the two heroes. Black Manta however blasted Wink's gun before she could kill her and also injured Aerie's right wing. Piper however was able to successfully kill Nightshade and Wink teleported all three back to Earth before the portal closed, trapping the horde permanently.[6]
