This made him a contemporary of other significant figures such as America's then-President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the USSR's leader Joseph Stalin. These men were instrumental figures in the downfall of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. His iconic accessory is a giant Cuban cigar with a hole punched in the end by matchstick.
In December, 1941, Churchill visits Ottawa, Canada where he is saved from assassination by Commander Steel.
