Wizard Ward (Quality Universe)

Wizard Ward was an enemy of Quicksilver.

Wizard Ward was warned by Snatch McGatt that he was being pursued by Quicksilver and ordered Snatch McGatt to enter in the annual boat race on Swan Lake, planning for his men to sabotage the other racers and win money betting on McGatt. Quicksilver interrupted the sabotaging efforts and knocked Wizard Ward's men unconscious before handing McGatt over to the authorities. While Quicksilver was preoccupied Ward and his men fled the scene in a car, causing Quicksilver to steal a motorcycle from a policeman to chase after them. Wizard Ward and his men set up a trap to launch Quicksilver into the air, but Quicksilver's bulletproof suit rendered the trap ineffective and allowed the hero to defeat Ward, leaving the trio for the authorities.


  • This version of Wizard Ward, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–1986 crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the 2022-2023 crossover event Dark Crisis. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
