Synopsis for "The Devil You Know"

In the Tasmanian jungle, Diana has emerged from one of the entrances to the Labyrinth, only to be confronted by a monster lurking in the shadows. Diana remembers when, as a teenager, she entered the Labyrinth as part of her rite of passage and hunted a monster known by the Amazons as the Chaos Devil, a ravenous, snarling, humanoid Tasmanian devil with razor-sharp claws, jaws like a steel trap and the power to conjure a tornado around himself. Confronted by the beast, Diana used her wits to outwit him and used an enchanted lyre to lull him into a deep sleep. Rather than killing the Chaos Devil, Diana cut off one of the patches of fur that grew over his brow into the shape of a horn and took it home as proof of her victory.

In the present, Diana confronts her old adversary once more, only to put down her weapons and explain she has not come to fight him. Rather, she needs his help to save the Amazons, who have been turned to stone by Circe and her army of trolls. Wrapping the Lasso of Truth around his wrist, the Chaos Devil, who identifies himself by the name "Taz", explains his was never angry that Diana outwitted him. Instead, he was sad to wake up and discover the beautiful music was gone, and agrees to help. Leading Diana through the many twists and turns of the Labyrinth, Taz brings her to a hidden shrine DEEP in the endless maze housing a suit of armor forged to fit his frame, explaining he had helped Theseus defeat the Minotaur centuries ago. Cutting through the Labyrinth's heart, Diana and Taz manage to escape the Minotaur and return to Themyscira to confront Circe and her troops. Between the two of them, Diana and Taz make short work of Circe's army, retrieve the talisman to undo the sorceress' spell of stone, and HURL Circe into the Labyrinth, leaving her for the Minotaur to work out his aggression on.

Before Taz returns to his home in the Tasmanian jungle, Diana expresses her gratitude to her new friend by having her mother throw the monster a lavish banquet. Amazed by the huge amount of delicious food, Taz voices his approval, but asks what the Amazons intend to eat before making short work of the feast.
