  • Wonder Woman 1984 was affected by the global COVID-19 pandemic and suffered 3 separate release date delays. It was first pushed from November 1, 2019 to June 5, 2020; so as to take advantage of the summer box-office season. The pandemic however caused the release date to be shifted to August 14, 2020; then to October 2, 2020; and lastly to December 25, 2020. It was simultaneously released in theatres and HBO Max in the United States.

Trivia

  • The film includes cameos by the director Patty Jenkins' husband Sam Sheridan and their son Asa.
  • Gal Gadot's husband Yaron Varsano as well as their daughters Alma and Maya also make cameos.
  • While only appearing on pictures in the film, Lucy Davis, Eugene Brave Rock and Ewen Bremner did pose for new material and as such received a screen credit.[1] Saïd Taghmaoui is also credited, though he was unavailable for the movie.[2]
