- This story makes two minor retcons, and one important addition, to the Wonder Woman origin story set forth in All-Star Comics #8:
- Wonder Woman gets her magic lasso before leaving Paradise Island in this story. In Sensation Comics, she didn't get the lasso until issue #6.
- Steve Trevor receives a promotion to Major after returning from Paradise Island. In Sensation Comics, he wasn't promoted until issue #6.
