Wonder Woman (Volume 1) with a cover date of September, 1947.
Synopsis for "Siege of the Rykornians"
During a Sky-Kanga-mounted athletic contest on Paradise Island, Etta Candy accidentally falls onto an undiscovered tiny planetoid, called Rykorn, in orbit around Earth. She meets King Tassel and Lord Cob, and their many many minions, who capture her. Etta calls in Wonder Woman by Mental Radio, and Diana finds the well-concealed planetoid. Two Rykornian leaders sneak aboard Wonder Woman's Invisible Plane, and hide there, with a bag of Rykorn seeds; their plan is to plant these on Earth, and grow an army with which to take over the world. When Wonder Woman flies Etta and her Holliday Girls to Hard Candy's Bar-L Ranch, the Rykornians stealthily disembark, and that night they plant their Rykorn Seeds. Enormous stalks of Rykorn quickly overgrow the ranch, and their rapid spread continues. Overnight many new-grown Plant People burst forth from these fields. The U.S.Army attacks the Rykornians, but is defeated.
Paula von Gunther develops a super powered harvesting machine, and Wonder Woman deploys it against the Rykornians, then flies the machine to Rykornia. She frees the Rykornians, who are now so demoralized that they pose no future threat.
