Synopsis for "The Four Horsewomen, Part 2"

Within Donna Troy's Lasso of Persuasion

Donna is fighting the two horsewomen who tried to recruit her: Devastation and Armageddon. She explains her how their idea of all three being similar is wrong, as she is neither a pawn nor a killer. She is enraged with Diana for her reasons, but Donna considers Wonder Woman family and she'll never betray that bond. Now the two horsewomen know there's no chance that Donna Troy will join their ranks, so the fight must be to the death. The two villains think they won when Donna seemingly disappears, but the truth is that they are just stepping out of the dimension formed by Donna's Lasso of Persuasion. Back to Manhattan, Donna explains the powers of her Lasso: she can wrap her opponents with it and fight them fair and square inside a safe dimension. If she wins, then her opponents will be persuaded to do what Donna tells them, and this time it's about revealing the masterplan of their boss, Paula von Gunther. Then, they will both patiently wait for the Justice League to take them into custody.

Norway, Inside the Crypt of the von Gunther family

Put against the only option of opening the portal to Themyscira to save innocent lives, Diana answers with a blow, using her Tiara, right in the face of Paula. She will not accept the condition of a tyrant, so the fight will go on. The Warmaster tells her she made a grave mistake, as now innocent lives will be lost as she will tell Genocide to let herself go. As the two women fight, Diana tries once again to reason with Paula, telling her she admits having lied to her. But Diana also tells her that she did it out of love and protection, and that the only truth that mattered for her was Paula's own well being. A little shocked about the fact Diana admitted her lies, Paula still keeps on with the plan, telling her it's too late: maybe this would have settled things before, but now the Valkyries must obtain vengeance. In that moment what seems a Steel Pegasus breaks into the crypt, hitting Wonder Woman, while Paula confirms that Genocide is closer and closer to the portal to Paradise Island.

Wonder Woman reacts, kicking the creature with all her strength while shouting her battlecry. But Paula is teleporting away together with the Pegasus, once she gained control of the beast, leaving Diana to die under the ruins of the crypt. Genocide will keep on working and, through sheer brutality, will break into the dimension which holds Themyscira. In that moment, the whole crypt explodes. Diana is virtually condemned, but Donna gets there and rescues her, and the two embrace with joy. Donna tells Wonder Woman she got all the information from Devastation and Armageddon, who tried to recruit her. Knowing what Warmaster wants to do, Donna and Diana prepare to be the champions the Amazons need.

Themyscira, the court of Hippolyta

While Hippolyta gets the troops ready, sensing that an attack is coming their way, Asclepia, Nubia and other Amazons discuss about the fact that the Island must start interacting again with the human world, as the Amazons should evolve and escape the cycle of violence that they stumbled into. While discussing this, Genocide and Warmaster get the portal to open up, breaking in.
