Synopsis for "The Face in the Desert"

Steve and Diana are traveling in an unnamed desert when they come across a broken sphinx. Wonder Woman reassembles the sphinx, and they are shocked to see it looks like her. Contacting the Amazon scientist Paula, Wonder Woman is transported to the past where she encounters King Hazeen and Queen Kara fleeing from Duke Naxok's men. After Diana saves them, the three attempt to flee but are cut off. Diana builds a "four-sided fort" and climbs to the top, which the duke's soldiers are unable to follow. She then uses her lasso to create a gust of wind that collapses the duke's boats. Hazeen and Kara build a sphinx in her honor, solving the mystery.
