Wonder Woman (Volume 3) #6 is an issue of the series Wonder Woman (Volume 3) with a cover date of May, 2007.
Synopsis for "Love and Murder Part 1"
Diana Prince and Nemesis are assigned to guard the new Maxi-Man while he makes an appearance at an amusement park. Diana is dismayed at how far Wonder Woman has fallen in the public eye since she killed Maxwell Lord. A roller-coaster track breaks, and Diana springs into action as Wonder Woman to save the passengers.
After reporting back to Sarge Steel at the DMA, Diana and Tom are given a new assignment: find Wonder Woman. Throughout the day, Diana shows her ignorance of Man's World when she is confused by things like credit cards, turnstiles, and pumping gas. When Tom decides to call it a day and go home, she stops a mugging on the street and learns that some people are still thankful for Wonder Woman.
Later that night, Tom gets a report of a Wonder Woman sighting at the Villains and Vixens Bar. When he arrives, Wonder Woman is waiting for him. She seduces and abducts him. Diana is called back to the DMA, where Steel tells her that Tom is missing, and it looks as though Wonder Woman is to blame. Knowing someone is impersonating her, Diana rushes off to save Tom from the person holding him captive: Circe.
