Synopsis for "Love and Murder Part 2"
Circe is holding Nemesis hostage in a storeroom of the Wonder Woman museum. She confronts Wonder Woman among relics from Diana's past adventures, telling her she's lying to herself if she thinks she can fit in among humans. They fight, but Circe eventually escapes through a mirror. Wonder Woman rescues Tom, who is in desperate need of medical attention. As she is still a fugitive, they are forced to break into a veterinary clinic for supplies— she knows it's wrong, but she has no choice. Tom mentions that he wishes he could work with Wonder Woman, and does not contact the DMA. Working together, they visit the Villains and Vixens Bar in hopes that someone knows something about what Circe's up to.
Luckily, Circe happens to be in the V+V restroom. After a quick scuffle and more taunting, Circe disappears into another mirror. Just then, Sarge Steel shows up with a heavily-armed entourage to arrest Diana. Apparently, they were tracking Tom with a locator chip he unwittingly had in his uniform. She goes without a fight, hopeful that they can resolve whatever problems they have. Back at DMA headquarters, Steel tortures Diana, asking questions about the Purple Death Ray.
Elsewhere, Circe buys her way into Themyscira for an unnamed favor to be rendered later. She makes her way to the flame marking Queen Hippolyta's grave and puts out the "eternal flame", saying "Death's a bitch, darlings, and then you're born again."
