Synopsis for "Struggle & Strife"
In a London nightclub, Diana and Hessia enjoy the evening until a drunk man makes a scene and Diana ends up vaulting him over his shoulder. Hours later the two women leave and come across a homeless man to whom Diana ducks down and inadvertently dodges an arrow fired from a rooftop across the street. Diana flies up to chase the shooter, Nikos Aegeus, the man from the bridge. She catches him but he escapes by summoning a Pegasus and disappearing through a portal, vowing to kill Diana.
Nikos reflects upon an event months ago where his dying mother tells Nikos how he is descendent from Poseidon and is given a token of the sea, though he remains dubious. He presents himself before the sea and though Poseidon does not appear, another God answers his call. Presently, Nikos stands before a pool of green water talking to the voice and irately throwing his token into the pool, angry that he could not defeat Diana. The pool erupts and mocks Nikos, shouting at him to learn his place as a pawn in the Gods' plans.
Diana returns to Zola and Hera on Olympus to ask whether they knew of anyone that fit Nikos' description. Unsatisfied Diana revisits Donna Troy who is haunted by her past and pushes Diana away. Left alone, Donna hears the call of Strife who presents Donna with a key to her cell and the last known location of Diana.
