Synopsis for "The Lies, Part One"
Banakane rainforest, Dkarango Region, Bwunda
Wonder Woman, apparently searching for Cheetah, goes through the jungle, followed by lurking indigenous natives.
Progressing through, she comes across quite a macabre altar, composed of various animals' bones, being followed by weirder humanoid figures, with glowing red eyes and long claws.
Reaching a rocky peak filled with dozens of these man/hyena hybrids, Diana asked their "goddess" for help, triggering them to actually rush towards her. Fighting wave after wave of hybrids, she taunted Cheetah into coming out and, while fighting her, begged her to find the island of Themyscira, that had recently gone of the charts.
Just arrived in one of A.R.G.U.S.' secret holdouts, Commander Etta Candy got briefed by her assistant about the location of the team charged in locating and capturing Colonel Cadulo, an african warlord based in Bwunda. Once in the control room, Etta asked for a visual of Cadulo's headquarters and contacted the team leader, aka Master Chief Steve Trevor, already under fire. Cadulo knowing they were coming and being determined not to let them get to him, Etta ordered Steve to reach the objective before the enemy.
The latter receiving confirmation that Wonder Woman infiltrated Bwundan territory a few hours earlier, actually asked him if he didn't leak any intel about the ongoing operation to Diana, given their past history.
Arrived in a village recently raided by Cadulo's men, Steve and his team asked an elder about the attack, learning that Cadulo had kidnapped all their daughters and wounded a great number of villagers.
