Synopsis for "Godwatch, Part 1"

Geneva, Switzerland

A young child is on a trip with her schoolmates, visiting an art museum, when she is distracted by a painting depicting an ancient Greek myth. Her name is Isadore Cale, they call her Izzy. There, two twins approach her, telling the painting is called "Kill Your Father". They tell her she has no father, and that her mother told her it is a good thing. She innocently trusts the words of the two twins, without knowing they are stealing her soul, trapping it in their personal limbo. She is left with no spirit, with no face.

Empire Industries, Washington D.C.

Veronica Cale is in her office, talking with her colleague and dearest friend Adrianna Anderson about Wonder Woman's actions. Veronica does not like the Amazon: she acts so morally superior, telling love heals all things. That is not true. Of more concern than Wonder Woman for Veronica is the seven million dollars contract her company signed to deliver the Cyberwalker, a robotic construct, the Cyber, neurally connected with a master, the Walker. Adrianna is trying to make it work, but it has a big problem: after two minutes of functionality, the walker ceases to exist, getting lost in the neural dimension. Moments later, Veronica gets struck with a tragic piece of news: her daughter was victim of an horrendous, paranormal incident in Switzerland. With Adrianna trying to calm her down, Veronica has to face a mysterious pair of twins coming to her because they want her services. These two men are indeed gods, Deimos and Phobos, and they have the life of Veronica's own daughter, Isadore, in their hands: she has to use the Cyberwalker to read the mind of Wonder Woman and extract from her the memory of how to access Themyscira, as it is protected from them due to their origin.

National Zoo, Washington D.C.

Using an innocent man as bait and throwing him in the cage of the Chimera, captured by Diana herself a few hours before, Deimos and Phobos attract Diana into a trap. Adrianna took control of the Cyberwalker, not letting Veronica do it, and must, in two minutes, take the information the twins need. But inexperience and difficulties transpire, and Adrianna is incapable of completing her task, also getting imprisoned in the system and dying because of it. Enraged and desperate, Veronica Cale swears revenge for all people involved.
