Synopsis for "The Dark Gods, Part Two"
Washington D.C., USA
Wonder Woman is fighting a mind-controlled Supergirl: while brawling, the Girl of Steel claims Wonder Woman summoned the Dark Gods from their own dimension. They know Diana will interfere with them so they sent Supergirl out to stop her. Diana tries to reason with Kara to no avail. Seeking answers, Diana manages to lasso the kryptonian. In reaction, the younger hero smashes them against several buildings until Wonder Woman holds onto a rooftop and commands Supergirl to tell her everything she knows about the dark gods, but Supergirl blacks out in a kind of reaction to the Lasso's power. Trying to find a way to help her back to her normal state, Diana gets communication from Steve that four different unidentified forces are flying towards her.
The Aegean Islands, Childhood Home of Jason
Jason has a meeting with the Fates to figure out how and why he's wearing an armor endowed with the power of all gods. The Fates reveal Zeus foresaw the coming of the dark gods so he created that armor as an additional weapong against them. It was made for the Earth's greatest champion, but he died before bestowing it upon Diana, and the rest of the pantheon minus Hera assumed it was meant for his son. Zeus' wife just wanted Jason to get crazy trying to utilize it properly.
Jason considers to hand it over to Diana, but the Fates warn it's bonded to his body and spirit now. He's stuck with it forever. Jason protests he doesn't feel worthy of it, but the three spirits reiterate he better learns quick. The dark gods are already on Earth and his sister needs him. Jason heads off at Hermes' speed.
Back to Washington D.C.
Jason approaches his sister, trying to explain her what the Fates revealed him about the armor and his destiny in stopping the Dark Gods. Diana answers him with the fact that those Dark Gods themselves are coming right there to greet them, and so they prepare to fight. Surprisingly, the four resemble monoliths made of some kind of stone, with red energy beams erupting from their eyes. As they are ready to attack, Wonder Woman is abducted by a pair of Star Sapphire Corps who seek her help, and Jason is left to face the dark gods alone, not knowing what to do.
