Synopsis for "The Witching Hour, Part IV"

Diana finds herself, or at least her spirit, imprisoned in the Collective Unconscious, the place of power of Hecate, a metaphor of the Moon where all of their spirits are taken while Hecate uses their bodies to do what she needs. There, Witchfire, or at least her soul as Rebecca tells Diana she died after the attack at the Oblivion Bar, explains to Wonder Woman her situation. Then, Diana falls down in pain: Hecate is using her power through her body, too much for anyone to withstand. She's condemned to die the moment Hecate doesn't need her anymore to push her plans forward.

Meanwhile, Constantine and Zatanna comment about the fact that Hecate is rewriting magic itself with her own power, transforming it in something different, wild, and completely bound to her. We also discover John Constantine has developed a cancer, probably thanks to the fact the Upside-Down Man deprived him of his demon blood. Feeling useless, he tells Zatanna that now he's just a "back-alley exorcist with a bloody cough. But the sorceress gets an idea from this: they could at least try to exorcise Hecate from Diana, after all it's better than trying nothing. Constantine agrees. At the same time, other battles are fought, with Swamp Thing unable to do anything to save the Parliament of Trees and the rest of the Justice League Dark, alongside the survivors of the Sisterhood of the Sleight hand, trying to keep Manitou Dawn from killing Rama Kushna.

Zatanna and Constantine then start the exorcism but they fail, or at least they do something completely different from their original intention: they free Black Orchid and Manitou Dawn from Hecate's control and send all of Hecate's power they had to endure inside the body of Diana, a quantity of power of universal scale: still in Hecate's dimension, Rebecca tells Diana that she probably just died from the impact of the transfer.
