Synopsis for "The Wild Hunt, Part 1"

Themyscira

Thanks to a bargain with the Dark Fates, Cheetah was freed from prison and now she hunts for Amazons in Themyscira, armed with the very own Lasso of Truth which bounded her while she was prisoner. Holding once again the God Killer, remade stronger by the Dark Fates, Barbara seeks to complete her task, telling about a debt she has with Diana. She in fact realized that the Patrons of the Amazons are parasites for them, and Diana especially, and the only way to make her become her true self is by slaughtering them, starting with Hera, the very own protector of the Amazons. AS Diana helped her in killing Urzkartaga and freeing Cheetah from her curse, finally giving her a chance to access power that could be called her own, Cheetah will do the same for Wonder Woman.

Her plan is to blaspheme the soil of Themyscira with as much Amazon blood she can make flow from the bodies of the warriors that refused her, luring out Hera and killing her just like she did with her daughter, Aphrodite.

Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.

Diana is trying to start a new life in Boston after ending her relationship with Steve, with Etta telling her that even in dire times like these, she must take at least some time for herself, to rest and refocus. After meeting Nora Nunes, her new neighbor, and inviting her in, the things Diana left behind get transported inside her new house: in those things stands also a magic sphere used as communicator with Themyscira, and Nubia appears in it. She tells Diana that Cheetah is rampaging through the island, hunting Amazons as prey, armed with the God Killer and the Lasso of Truth.

Shocked about this, Diana leaves to gather new equipment and weapons, as her Bracelets are gone and her Lasso is now in the hands of her nemesis. After Natasha Irons remakes her invisible jet, giving her the means to strike with a surprise attack against Cheetah, Diana also borrows the weapon of the Wonder Woman of China, Peng Deilan, to use against Barbara. She then approaches Themyscira and stares down at her former friend.
