- The voice itself is eerily reminiscent of Batman's, but the syntax is pure 19th Century.
Wonder Woman (Volume 6) #11 is an issue of the series Wonder Woman (Volume 6) with a cover date of September, 2024. It was published on July 17, 2024.
Synopsis for "The Worst of Times"
The entire world has turned against the superhero community and Amanda Waller has been spreading lies to trick people into turning against the superheroes that have protected them for so long. Wonder Woman and her allies, Billy Batson, Mary Bromfield, Detective Chimp, Jim Corrigan, John Constantine and Madame Xanadu have decided to stay hidden in the Watergate hotel and lay low until they can plan their next move. To spend time and keep themselves entertained, the magical heroes try a game of cards, until one of Waller's robots, Paradise Lost, breaks into their hotel room and attacks the gathered heroes.
Reciting the works of Charles Dickens, Paradise Lost begins absorbing the powers of Constantine, until it gets attacked by Wonder Woman and her allies. Paradise Lost has already obtained Constantine's magical knowledge and teleports Shazam into Paris, France, but Mary Marvel distracts Paradise Lost enough for the Spectre to send it flying with a mighty punch. Detective Chimp is curious as to why Paradise Lost keeps talking in poetic intonations and Xanadu doesn't want to risk getting infected by Constantine's demonic magic by trying to analyze Paradise Lost.
Wonder Woman warns Spectre not to get too close to Paradise Lost, but Spectre heeds her warning too late and Paradise Lost incapacitates him with its absorbed magic. Mary Marvel attempts an attack from above, but Wonder Woman reels her in with her lasso and advises her to keep her distance from the robot, who has already absorbed the magic of Xanadu. Wonder Woman tells Mary to escape with Bobo while she keeps the robot distracted. The battle is fierce and, although Wonder Woman fights admirably, her opponent gains the upper hand thanks to the powers it had stolen and prevents Mary and Bobo from escaping.
Help arrives in the form of Shazam and, to incapacitate their foe, Shazam and Mary strike it with their magic lightning bolt. Wonder Woman knows that Paradise Lost cannot be allowed to take Billy, so she tells Mary to escape with her brother while Paradise Lost absorbs the magic that gives Bobo his intelligence. With no other allies, Wonder Woman stands alone and her power is absorbed by the enemy robot, until Bobo, reduced to a simple animal, attacks Paradise Lost and gives Wonder Woman a chance to escape.

Synopsis for Trinity: "World's Finest", Part 8
Jon and Damian have taken Lizzie to see a concert from her favorite singer, Black Canary. Damain was able to acquire good seats because his mother knew Dinah's manager and had even killed people on his behalf. Damian is initially not interested in listening to the concert and says he would rather be out fighting criminals, but once he starts listening to the music, he takes a liking to it and even cheers for Black Canary, who invites him onto the stage.
A month later, the young heroes are fighting the tyrant Mongul, until Damian and Jon start talking about Black Canary's music and their conversation is interrupted by Mongul, who also happens to be a fan of music and, much to Jon's confusion, joins Damian and Lizzie in talking about their musical interests.

Notes
- The first story takes place during the events of Absolute Power #1.
- Paradise Lost's voice being similar to Batman's with a Victorian tone and its Dickens quotes suggest that he's controlled by the Batman of Zur-En-Arrh of Earth 19 which was already implied in Batman (Volume 3) #150.
- The first story continues in Absolute Power: Task Force VII #1 and Absolute Power #2.
Trivia
- Madame Xanadu says "By the Doorway to Nightmare" which is a reference to the comic she originated from.
- The title of the story and all the Paradise Lost's dialogues are actually quotes from Charles Dickens' works:

I wish he could have witnessed the horrible avidity with which Oliver tore the bits asunder with all the ferocity of famine. There is only one thing I should like better; and that would be to see the Philosopher making the same sort of meal himself, with the same relish." from Oliver Twist;
