Synopsis for "Fury Finale"

Throughout her long adventure, Wonder Woman had withstood everything the Sovereign had thrown at her and emerged stronger for it. Now, she stands in front of the Sovereign himself. Without his resources, the Sovereign is little more than an old man and he knows it. As Wonder Woman enters the Oval Office, the Sovereign admits his full surrender. The only thing he asks of her enemy is to be treated with the mercy and respect an old monarch deserves. However, Wonder Woman isn't in the mood to reason with the man who murdered her lover.

With a light on her right hand, she summons a dagger and hands it to the Sovereign, who believes Wonder Woman wants him to use it to commit suicide. Wonder Woman, however, has other plans. She tells the old man to take off his shirt and jacket and use the dagger, not to commit suicide, but to write the word "LIAR" across his chest. With that, Wonder Woman concludes her fury to be satisfied. Now, the Sovereign shall be taken to Themyscira, where he shall be imprisoned for his crimes against the Amazons.

Meanwhile, in another part of the world, Emelie has given birth to her child with the help of Wonder Woman's friend, Etta Candy. The child is Lyssa, named after the goddess of rage. Emelie says the child is a curse she has endured for her sin against the gods, but Etta says that she has a friend that can ensure Emelie and her child will be safe and happy. They have been captured by the Mouse Man, but Wonder Woman will save them.

In the future, the Sovereign has concluded his story to Trinity, who believes there is more to this story than the old man is letting on. Trinity wants to know more and even wraps the Sovereign's neck in the Lasso of Truth to force him to continue his tale, but the Sovereign already knows why Trinity is interrogating him. He knows that the Amazons, including Wonder Woman and the Wonder Girls, have been slaughtered, and Lyssa, the weapon of the Sovereign's revenge has plunged the dagger into Wonder Woman's chest. Lyssa ended the story of Wonder Woman, and soon, she will end the story of Trinity.
