Synopsis for "Wonder Woman: Outlaw, Part 4"

News outlets all over America have reported the death of Rafael Delgado, a soldier who partook in the initial operation by the U.S. military to detain Wonder Woman by any means necessary. Investigators discovered that, before his death, Delgado wrote a note in which he said that Wonder Woman had taken away his dignity as a man, and for that, she was guilty of his death. Because of this turn of events, public opinion has been slowly turning against Wonder Woman.

The President of the U.S. has been called to address the nation and the mysterious Sovereign has visited to White House to see which course of action the President will take. He looks at the speech written and shows discomfort at all the times Wonder Woman is mentioned in it. He even says that Diana is a woman, alright, but she is not a wonder. The President disagrees with the Sovereign's assessment, but the Sovereign asserts his authority as king of the United States. The President kneels before the Sovereign and kisses his ring.

Amanda Waller obtains a copy of the President's revised speech and expresses her concerns about Wonder Woman to Sgt. Steel. Agreeing that the time to act has come, Waller and Steel prepare a group of individuals that could detain Wonder Woman.

Meanwhile, Steve has punched one of his fellow soldiers for brazenly turning against Wonder Woman even after having fought together. The other soldier accuses Steve of losing his manhood to Wonder Woman, and Steve punches him again. Both men are sentenced to spend some time in the brig.

The President delivers his speech and denounces Wonder Woman and the Amazons as a danger to the United States. Nobody knows what will happen in the oncoming days, but one thing is certain: blood will be spilled, both American and Amazonian.

Wonder Woman herself is visiting the Kole family in Arizona. She has granted the request of James and Mary Kole to visit their sick child, Jack. He has always been a fan of Wonder Woman and his days are numbered, so Wonder Woman wants to give Jack the happiest day of his life. She helps him board the Invisible Jet and says that she can take him wherever she wants to go. The boy admits that he was interested in seeing Paradise Island, but says that they can visit any other place if Wonder Woman is uncomfortable. Wonder Woman, however, agrees to grant Jack's wish.

The pair fly to Themyscira, only to be greeted by soldiers, who hold reservations about receiving a boy whose country that had just violently expelled so many Amazons. Wonder Woman remains resolute in taking Jack on a tour across Themyscira for a day and shows willingness to fight her own Amazons to grant Jack's wish. She even reminds her sister that, when she was a child, she defeated every worthy warrior Themyscira had to offer and now, she is a woman grown, armed with the best weapons Themyscira has to offer. Even with the Amazon commander says that they have to obey the laws of Themyscira, the laws of Diana's own mother, Wonder Woman replies that those laws were written by women attempting to escape barbarity, something Amazons are trying to do right now.

In the throne room, Philippus and Artemis have concluded that America will declare Themyscira an enemy and are preparing for a military response. They are also aware that Diana has returned to Themyscira and brought a boy child as a guest. Artemis asks what should be done and Philipus replies that Diana should be left alone. From the throne of Themyscira, a queen rules over the Amazons but she can never rule over Diana.

Wonder Woman and Jack spend the entire day playing with animals, exploring the forests, eating fruits and using weapons. Jack truly spend the best day of his life alongside Wonder Woman and when he thanks her for it, Wonder Woman says "thank you" in return. Once the day is over and the moon rises over the island, Wonder Woman and Jack sit on a cliff and look at the stars together. Jack admits that he feels that there is something wrong with him because he doesn't like things other boys do, like Superman, Batman or baseball. Instead, he feels safe and protected with Wonder Woman, and she replies that there is nothing wrong with him.

As they walk across the shores, Wonder Woman says that gods and mortals are similar in one regard: sometimes they are taken by surprise by life itself. For that reason, she tells Jack not to search the Heavens for answers about himself. Instead, those answers must be searched for within every person. Only Jack can define who Jack is. When Wonder Woman decides to take the boy home, Jack says that Wonder Woman would be a great mother and Wonder Woman replies that she can't imagine bringing a child into such a turbulent world.

Synopsis for Trinity: "World's Finest", Part 2

At the Fortress of Solitude, Jon is working in the Super-Computer until Damian asks him about Lizzie. Jon is confused because she thought Damian was watching over her, but Damian replies that he was busy with training. They fear that Lizzie has gotten into trouble and their fears are realized when they find the Black Mercy attached to Lizzie's chest.

In the Black Mercy's fantasy, Lizzie is queen of the Amazons, while her brothers are gladiators seeking to earn her favor. Lizzie says that her brothers are not her babysitters, but her students, and she will teach them a lesson about her wonder. Jon and Damian are quickly defeated and Lizzie flaunts her magnificence.

Jon and Damian wonder how are they going to remove the Black Mercy from Lizzie. Jason used special gloves to remove the Black Mercy from Superman back when Mongul used it, but they don't know where the gloves are and, right now, Clark is in another dimension. Jon has an idea: Damian must remove the Black Mercy all by himself, because his negative behavior and lack of hope for the future will prevent the Black Mercy from manipulating him.

The plan works and the brothers start separting the alien organism from Lizzie, who begins to see that two men standing in front of her are not really her brothers when they start begging for Lizzie's mercy. The brothers Lizzie respects and admires would never give up, even against in impossible odds, even against a fighter as wondrous as Lizzie herself. She realizes her perfect world is nothing but a childish fantasy and expresses her desire to wake up and see her brothers again.

Once the Black Mercy is removed and contained, Jon asks Lizzie what did the Black Mercy show her. Damian says that she must have seen something like perfect love and compassion, and Lizzie, uncomfortable about her fantasy, says that Damian is right.
