Wonder Woman (Volume 6) #5 is an issue of the series Wonder Woman (Volume 6) with a cover date of March, 2024. It was published on January 16, 2024.
Synopsis for "Wonder Woman: Outlaw, Part 5"
Diana and has gathered with Donna, Cassandra and Yara at a diner to discuss Diana's plans to fight AXE on her own. The Wonder Girls unanimously disagree on letting Diana carry that burden all by herself and want to help her, but Diana proposes a set of Amazonian contests so the girls can prove to have what it takes to help her. If any of the girls win, Diana will accept their aid, but should they lose, they will swear on the gods that they will leave Diana be.
First, Yara challenges Diana to a contest of archery. They will shoot each other with arrows and remain still while doing so. Whoever hits her target first will win the contest. Yara brags that her youthful energy will grant her victory and, while Diana has experience on her side, even she can't defeat the passage of time. The two archers fire their arrows with the intention of hitting each other, they're both so precise that the arrows only end up hitting each other rather than their respective targets.
They fire their arrows three more times, and Yara asks why didn't Diana take her or the other Wonder Girls as her sidekicks and Diana replies that she felt that there wasn't anything she could teach to the girls and that the girls have learned everything they needed on their own. Diana finally hits Yara in the stomach with the arrow and wins the first contest.
Next, Cassie challenges Diana to an arm-wrestling contest. As they prepare, Cassie admits that she never saw herself as a princess girl. She did enjoy wearing pink dresses or singing silly songs every once in a while, but what she really enjoyed is getting into the mud and playing dirty. But then, she met Diana and immediately began to admire the way Diana carry herself and the way Diana said she wouldn't be ruled by anyone. In her attempts to emulate Diana, Cassie became a princess girl.
The contest begins and Cassie says that Yara made a mistake in challenging Diana in a contest of skill. In a contest of strength, years of experience are irrelevant and Cassie brags about getting her muscles from Zeus, while Diana got hers from Hippolyta, but Diana replies that Hippolyta yields to no god. She thanks Cassie for teaching her American customes and admits herself to be weak in the sense that she doesn't want the help of her fellow Amazons for fear of watching them get hurt for her sake. With a heavy heart, Diana slams Cassie's arm onto the table and wins the second contest.
At the Titans Tower, Donna challenges Diana to a contest she is not prepared for: a fighting game. Donna chooses Batman as her character, while Diana chooses Superman. As the match begins, Diana repeats her commitment to protect the Amazons from American aggression, even if that means fighting an entire country all by herself. Donna easily gains the upper hand with her experience. Diana might have spent her time alongside Superman and Batman, veteran heroes and skilled warriors, but Donna spends her days with the Titans, who have an understanding of the modern world Diana and her friends don't have.
Diana replies that she has done more than just spending time with Batman and Superman. She has observed how they fight: Batman never walks into a fight without a plan, while Superman always holds back. By combining Superman's power and Batman's preparation, Diana wins the game. Donna pleads Diana to reconsider, but Diana stands by her choice and Donna accepts.
Meanwhile, Sgt. Steel has begun recruiting an army to hunt down and destroy Wonder Woman. Much like Amanda Waller has her Suicide Squad, Steel has requested the assistance of Wonder Woman's most dangerous enemies: Giganta, Circe, the Angle Man, Dr. Psycho, the Silver Swan and even Grail. Despite their different origins and powers, all of them are united in a single purpose: they hate Wonder Woman and want her dead.
But no matter how hard Wonder Woman's enemies try, they can't understand one special thing about her: she has friends who love her and would move Heaven and Earth for her. As she walks back to her apartment, Diana finds an unexpected surprise: the Wonder Girls have violated their sacred oaths and decided to help her, no matter the cost.
If Wonder Woman's enemies fight with hatred, Wonder Woman and her friends will fight with love.

Synopsis for Trinity: "World's Finest", Part 3
In yet another peaceful day in Themyscira, Trinity has challenged her dear brothers, Jonathan and Damian, to a kangaroo race to decide the name of their team. Trinity wants them to be known as "Trinity's Trinity", but Damian thinks the name to be ridiculous, preferring "Delta Force" instead. The race begins with Trinity getting a massive lead on her brothers, but as soon as the racers begin to reach the edge of a cliff, Jon asks her to stop and turn around.
Instead, Trinity sees this as an opportunity to finish the race early and makes the jump. Her mount, Jumpa Jr, barely reaches the other side before tripping up and throwing Trinity off her back. Jon and Damian check up on the injured Trinity, who brags about having made the jump. Her brothers are glad that she is safe and Trinity has decided they should call themselves "Gen-S", the generation of hope. Jon admits that he likes the name and the three siblings return home. As they enjoy a glass of ambrosia, Trinity says that the only way she wants to enjoy forever is with her two brothers.
