Synopsis for Superman and Batman: "The Mystery of the Alien Super-Boy"

When three aliens arrive outside Gotham City and begin robbing the Colonial Museum, Batman, Robin and Superman are called in to deal with them. To the heroes' surprise, one of their numbers has super powers and easily fights off the Dynamic Duo and Superman. Evenly matched with Superman, the alien uses its x-ray vision to melt a railroad track forcing Superman to leave the scene and repair the damage before a train goes by and derails, thus allowing the crooks to get away.

In pursuing the crooks, Batman and Robin are attacked by another alien and his pet. During the fight their masks are ripped off just as Superman arrives. The alien then suddenly stops the fight and explains himself. He tells the heroes his name is Logi from the planet Durim. He explains that one day he and his teacher, Hroguth, were bombarded by strange energy from a meteor that crashed on their homeworld. The meteor gave both super powers, and while Logi wanted to use his for good, Hroguth wanted to use his for personal gain and became criminal. When he learned that Hroguth came to Earth to steal copper (a rare substance on their world) to power a device that would strip Logi of his powers, he and his pet Quisto came to stop them.

They track down Hroguth and his minions, however, they are too late to stop them from finishing their device. They manage to use it on Logi, however, the Earth heroes manage to drive Hroguth and his thugs away from the scene. When Superman, Batman and Robin seemingly leave the weakened Logi behind to hunt for Hroguth, the villain returns to finish the job. However, this is all a trick, as Robin had disguised himself as Logi and vice-versa. Superman and Batman manage to get the device away from Hroguth and Superman holds the crook long enough for Batman to use the device to strip Hroguth of his powers. With Hroguth no longer a threat, they destroy the device and turn the three criminals over to Logi to return to their homeworld to answer for their crimes.
