Synopsis for Black Canary: "The Vertigo Version"
Dinah Lance, at a fashion show with Ruth, is witness to a jewel robbery by Count Vertigo, a costumed villain who can induce dizziness and loss of balance. A jeweler tells her that the only jewels robbed were ones that formerly belonged to the Vertigo family, who once ruled a small Balkan country before World War II. Dinah learns that the family had to flee the Russians and liquidate their jewel collection to help finance their escape. She also learns that the Vertigo family have a hereditary inner ear problem, affecting their sense of balance. Knowing the target of his next robbery, Black Canary meets Count Vertigo there and defeats him with her canary cry.

Synopsis for Green Arrow: "No Home for the Hero"
After the breakup of the Teen Titans and his recent adventure with Green Arrow and Black Canary, Roy Harper searches for Green Arrow in Star City. He finds his old mentor busting crooks, and changes into his Speedy guise to help out. Unfortunately, he learns that he has captured a member of the gang that GA and Detective Mack Morgan wanted to let go, in hopes of trailing him to gang leader — the Stinger. Speedy cooks up an alternative plan, which involves having him pose as a thug and breaking one of the gang members free. He plants a transmitter in his shoe to tail the crook. Unfortunately, the transmitter is bollixed when Roy steps in a puddle, but Green Arrow is able to track him anyway and captures the Stinger. Later, Roy and Oliver realize that they are a good fighting team still, but they can no longer be as close as they once were, and Roy leaves.

Synopsis for Wonder Woman: "A Kiss of Death Times Three"
Poison Ivy, in civilian guise, seduces three ambassadors of the United Nations and murders them all with poisoned plants. Diana Prince investigates, and becomes Wonder Woman when she and Steve Howard stumble upon the body of the third ambassador. They encounter Redwood, a gigantic wooden being in Ivy's thrall, who defeats her in battle. Later, she trails Poison Ivy to her hideout at the Bronx Botanical Gardens. Wonder Woman fights and literally disarms Redwood, but Poison Ivy knocks her out with gas. When she revives, she hears Ivy telling an ambassador that she has fulfilled her half of the bargain, and that he owes her the cupid's root herb which grows in his country, from which she will make a mind-controlling drug that will enable her to make Batman love her. Wonder Woman also hears Ivy saying she has taken steps to ensure Steve Howard's death. At that, the heroine breaks out and heads after Steve. Poison Ivy continues her speech assuring the ambassador that when Wonder Woman touches Steve Howard, he will die.
