Synopsis for Superman & Batman: "Assault on Thanagar!"
Superman and Batman accompany Hawkman to Thanagar to free the planet from Hyathis' domination. While Superman provides the needed distraction to Hyathis' troops, Batman infiltrates the core of her base of operations and sets up a bomb inside. Hawkwoman appears to prevent a violent confrontation between Hawkman and Hyathis, but her efforts are futile as Batman and Superman get the situation under control without much need of violence. When Hyathis is removed from power, the Tahagarians try to convince Hawkman to become their new leader, but the Winged Avenger has the idea to implement the democracy he has learned on Earth. Despite the successful mission, Hawkman feels empty when Hawkwoman once again leaves without him.

Synopsis for Green Arrow: "The Archer and The Assassin"
Green Arrow saves himself from falling to his death by catching a flagpole with his bow. Then, after consulting with Mrs. Bukowski, Thorpe's former secretary, and with Dinah Lance, Oliver Queen decides that Lady Ashford was not behind the Thorpe killing, and that the arrow which killed him could not have been fired accurately from a bow, since it was missing a control feather. Green Arrow then exposes and captures the real murderer, Mrs. Bukowski, who stabbed Thorpe to death with the arrow in revenge for Thorpe's murder of her policeman husband.
