Master Superman is such a well-mannered gentleman... so unlike that Green Arrow individual who sometimes visits!

Synopsis for Superman & Batman: "Kidnapped!"
There has been a recent wave of kidnappings of wealthy men in Gotham City and during a visit of Superman, one of these crimes takes place. Batman and Superman go to the place, but the Man of Steel is distracted saving people from a sudden earthquake and the criminal called Captain Cutlass escapes from Batman.
The two heroes then decide to prepare a trap for the crooks and they go as Bruce Wayne and his "bodyguard" to a fancy cruise, hoping to attract the attention of the kidnappers. Captain Cutlass appears at the scene and kidnaps Bruce Wayne, while his "bodyguard" is knocked unconscious. The distraction gives Clark enough time to switch to his Superman gear and follows Captain Cutlass, who has taken Bruce inside a submarine.
Cutlass joins his fellow criminals inside the submarine and Colonel Sulphur notices that they are being followed by Superman. Major Disaster creates a tsunami that would destroy a city and Superman is forced to stop his chase to save the city. In the time it takes him to stop the tidal wave, the submarine reaches the underground military base, concealed under a lead covered rock. For this reason Superman is unable to locate the submarine. The crooks then proceed to take Bruce Wayne to their leader and Bruce recognizes the man as General Scarr, who in turn deduces Bruce's plan and removes his clothes to reveal Batman's costume underneath.

Synopsis for Green Arrow: "The Hidden Soul of Harmony"
Green Arrow learns of a new religious cult, Harmony, when he breaks up a brawl between some of its members and some of its opponents. He also learns that one of the cultists is Laura Goodman, daughter of one of his fellow workers at the Daily Star. After consulting with Paul Goodman, her father, Oliver Queen goes to the offices of Out of Harmony, a group dedicated to fighting the cult, and is told that they will have Laura out of Harmony's hands...and deprogrammed...within two days. Suspicious, Oliver investigates as Green Arrow, and finds out that Out of Harmony is a front for Harmony, and controlled by Harmony's leader, Rev. Marcus Hale. He also overhears them issuing orders for Laura to be taken to Hale's upstate mansion.

Synopsis for Hawkman: "Pirates of the Spaceways"
Hawkman equips a Thanagarian ship with a hyperdrive engine and heads into hyperspace, and sets his tracking equipment to search for signs of Shayera. He comes across a reverse whirlpool which is spitting out rocks and rubble. While examining the phenomenon he picks up a distress signal from the center of the whirlpool. He heads in to investigate, and finds an old battered ship, unable to escape. He leaves his ship in a safe orbit, and travels to the other ship with the aid of a space suit. Upon landing he is attacked by an unruly pirate crew and a one-eyed Captain Czemm. Hawkman defeats the snake-like Veneer, but is attacked by the slimy Drekk. Karniss Gor tears Drekk from his prey to stop him destroying the space-suit with his mucoid acid, and Hawkman uses the diversion to overcome them both. He then turns his attack on the Captain, but is distracted by an apparition of Shayera. In the confusion, Karniss Gor knocks Katar unconscious, and Czemm gloats that they will be able to use Hawkman's ship to return to plundering!

Synopsis for Shazam!: "When Bancroft Fisher Dies, Everybody Dies!"
Dying industrialist Bancroft Fisher has created an incentive for doctors to find a cure for him: transmitters linked to his body that will send signals to launch a missile into the atmosphere that will destroy the Earth's oxygen if he stops breathing, and another missile to launch into the heart of the Earth if his heart stops beating. While the scientists get to work, the Marvels stay as Fisher's bodyguards. Captain Marvel Jr and Mary Marvel reflect that they have been receiving a lot of help recently from "impossible people"—the dead, figures from mythology—but Captain Marvel Jr says this first happened to him during the war, when he broke up Captain Nazi's black market ring with help from the ghost of Sherlock Holmes (as told in Captain Marvel, Jr. #2). Suddenly, Fisher collapses, triggering both missiles. Mary remains behind to keep Fisher alive with CPR, while the Captains Marvel head off to intercept the missiles, diverting both outside the Earth's atmosphere where they explode harmlessly. Back on Earth, Fisher is healed by the Greek god Asklepios, who was summoned by Kid Eternity. Kid Eternity admits to Mary Marvel that he was the one who summoned all the Marvels' mystery assistants, but seems anxious to get away. Just then the Captains Marvel arrive back, and Captain Marvel Jr identifies Kid Eternity as his brother Kit Freeman.

- Superman says to Batman that he has known Alfred even longer than they have known each other. While this would be accurate for New Earth and Prime Earth continuity, it is incorrect in Earth-One continuity, wherein Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne first encountered as adolescents, even before the deaths of Thomas and Martha Wayne[1][2], whereas Bruce only first met Alfred after becoming an adult, adopting Dick Grayson as his ward, and being well-established as Batman in Gotham City.[3]
