Quote1 When I reach the end of this energy stream, I will be out of the dimension of time completely! I'll be frozen in a single, unending moment, which will never pass! Perhaps if I exert all my strength *grunt* I can... No! Only managed to move one arm! But just moving an arm or a leg is no help at all! I still can't break free of this time stream! And if I don't soon-- I never will! Quote2

Synopsis for Superman & Batman: "War in the Streets!"

General Scarr and his Army of Crime have caused Superman to be trapped in a dimension without time and they believe Batman is trapped in their own prison. However, Batman switched places with Captain Cutlass and he learns about their plan to take over Gotham City using the weapons they stole from the Fortress of Solitude.

Colonel Suplhur will be in charge of using the weapons to render the city under their control while Major Disaster creates distractions for any member of the Justice League that might try to stop them. Captain Cutlass is assigned to lead the tropps into the city for total control and Batman takes this opportunity to warn the National Guard about the incoming troops. Like this, "Captain Cutlass" leads the troops to the National Guard and soon, he joins Alfred, who is waiting him with a spare Batsuit. Back in his regular gear, Batman struggles to find a way to stop Sulphur from ataccking Gotham.

At that moment, Superman is still struggling in the timeless dimension and he finds a way out by forcing his heart to beat at the rhythm of a clock. The Man of Steel causes an implosion in the timeless dimension and he is finally released into the real world. In the meantime, Scarr and Disaster have learned about Cutlass' failure and Scarr commands Disaster to strike at Batman. Using his machine to create a powerful tornado, Disaster stops Batman's attempt to foil their plans, but Superman arrives in time to save his friend and Major Disaster is knocked unconscious when his computer explodes after becoming overloaded.

With Superman back in action, Colonel Sulphur is easily defeated and the heroes turn their attention to General Scarr, who threatens to use a powerful weapon against them. However, Superman uses a neutralizer to stop the weapon and Batman is able to stop Scarr without much effort. Once the criminals are stopped, peace is restored and everything returns to normal.

Synopsis for Hawkman: "Out Into Space in Ships!"

Katar and Shayera have developed a skin-coating that will allow a body to survive the cold of space for a few minutes. This allows Hawkman to fly to his ship, and he makes his way to the airlock, overcoming Czemm's attempts to move the rocket away from him. Inside he sneaks up on Czemm, who uses a laser-sword to attack. Katar maneuvers himself to the control panel, and behind his back fires the turbo drive rockets, throwing Czemm off balance long enough to deliver a knockout blow. Katar takes the pirates out of Hyperspace, and drops them at a local outpost. The inhabitants mention that Hawkwoman has passed through, and Hawkman continues on with Plert as his companion.
