Synopsis for Batman: "The Second Chance!"

A man called Joel Benson works as a guard in a museum and he is tempted to help some criminals break inside to steal from the place and he would get some of the loot as a reward. Batman and Robin prevent the crime and Benson tries to get away with the loot by himself, but he is captured and arrested. He is found guilty of murder and sentenced to die. Before Benson could be executed, he is rescued by the thugs he tried to help, but during the breakout he is seriously injured and the crooks leave him to die on the road.

Benson is rescued by a villager and taken back to his home, but he suffers from amnesia and doesn't remember his past. He starts a new life as Jim Brown working at a construction site and soon he reads in the newspapers that Batman has found the real criminal and Joel Benson is innocent. The memories flood back and Benson remembers everything. Now that he is a free man, he considers going back to his old life, but once again he is tempted to steal from the construction site with help from some thugs. A man dies during the crime and Batman and Robin arrive at the place in time to capture the criminals. Benson is once again arrested and this time he dies in the electric chair.
