Synopsis for Superman and Batman: "The Juice"

Cathode causes a blackout in Gotham City and threatens to maintain it until the city pays her ransom. Batman is unable to focus on stopping her since there are several criminals looting businesses and stores around the city, taking advantage of the darkness of the night. For this reaon, Superman goes to the Gotham Power Station and starts working to bring the energy back.

However, Cathode kidnaps an associate of Bruce Wayne and demands that the millionaire pay for her ransom. Batman is then forced to act and goes to rescue his friend, only to be captured by Cathode. In the meantime, Superman has charged himself with enough electricity from a thunder storm to return the power to the city and he starts relaying the energy to the power station. Cathode learns of this and goes to the place to keep draining the energy that Superman is providing. Batman breaks free from his trap and confronts the criminals, forcing Cathode to act desperately and touch Superman in an attempt to drain his electric energy. Unfortunately, the energy is too much for Cathode's body and after the overload, she explodes in a dense cloud of energy, apparently dying.

With the criminal mastermind gone, the rest of the crooks are captured and the electricity returns to Gotham City.
