Synopsis for Batman: "Public Enemy Bruce Wayne!"
Batman begins his own TV Show in which he reveals the identities of some of the most notorious criminals he has captured. In his normal life as Bruce Wayne, he spends time at the local social club with other members. At nightfall, the Bat-Signal appears in the sky and Bruce is forced to leave the club to fight the new lord of crime, The Kingpin, who has never revealed his true identity. Batman is unable to capture the thug and when he returns to the club as Bruce Wayne, some of the members of the club become suspicious of Bruce's disappearance during the crime. Soon, a rumour spreads across the city and everybody believes that Bruce Wayne is The Kingpin. At first, some of Bruce's closest friends support him, but when some perceived evidence shows up, they lose confidence in Wayne.
Bruce then decides to play along and he pretends to be the crime lord of Gotham City. He arranges a meeting for the night and as crime leader, all the minor thugs have to obey his command. Later on, as Batman, he informs the audience that during the next TV episode, he would reveal the identity of The Kingpin. The Kingpin is troubled both by Bruce Wayne's attitude and Batman's future revelation, so he attends the meeting organized by Bruce and after a confrontation among the criminals, Batman and Robin are finally able to capture The Kingpin, revealing his identity as Spotswood Hartley, another member of the social club. Finally, Bruce's name is cleared and the people who lost faith in him, come back to apologize.
