Synopsis for Batman: "Sir Batman and the Black Knight"

A scholarly criminal called Felix Dunn is obsessed with the legendary criminal "The Black Knight" and, using him as an inspiration, starts working as a criminal under the alias of Black Rogue. Dunn leads a criminal gang to rob the safe of a wealthy household and lucks into also stealing the Sandovian crown jewels. However, on his escape attempt, Dunn hits his head and suddenly, he starts acting as if he was The Black Knight of old. His gang decide to play along after they learn that Dunn has hidden the jewels and they need him to reveal the location.

Batman and Robin learn of this interesting turn of events as well, and decide to play along by confronting Dunn disguised as Knights of the Round Table from the Arthurian Legend. Batman and Robin infiltrate Dunn's castle and after a brief jousting tournament, Dunn admits Batman's superiority over him. Batman then uses some smoke pellets from his Utility Belt to make Dunn think that it is all part of Merlin's sorcery. Afraid of the wizard's power, Dunn surrenders and reveals the location of the jewels and he is arrested by Commissioner Gordon.
