Synopsis for Batman: "The Crime Consultant"
Batman and Robin learn of a wealthy man who has been working as crime consultant for various gangsters in Gotham City, but none of the criminals captured thought to have been aided by the consultant will testify against him. Batman then comes up with a plan to frame the thug and make the society believe that he is Batman. With his reputation in danger, the criminal tries to show his allies that he is not Batman, but he fails and instead, he leads the crimefighters to the his own capture along with a large criminal gang.

- This issue of World's Finest is considered by some comic indexers to be the last issue to regularly feature the Batman of Earth-Two. Other indexers place the dividing line between Earth-Two and Earth-One elsewhere (for example, Mike Voiles of Mike's Amazing World places it between World's Finest #67 and World's Finest #68). The DC Comics Database has decided to go with the former group.
