Synopsis for Batman: "Crime of the Month"
A well-known novelist invites some of the best-known criminals in Gotham City to be part of a personal contest that he has called "The Crime of the Month". Every one of them is going to compete against each other in order to perform the best crime before the month is over. The gangsters start their crime spree and after the third robbery, Batman and Robin investigate the case and deduce who is the next crime boss that would strike.
Following the criminals on the Batplane, the dynamic duo stop them from committing their crime, but one of the gangsters runs away towards the place of the famous novelist. Batman and Robin follow the criminal to the mysterious Bramwell's castle, where they fall into different traps each. Batman is able to escape his trap using some special gadget from his Utility Belt and once he is free, he saves Robin from a certain death.
Using their detective skills, Batman and Robin deduce where will the novelist strike on his attempt to perform the crime of the month. Batman and Robin soon arrive at the movie theatre where the novelist was presenting a hypnotic movie that caused the people in the audience to fall asleep, allowing him to steal their belongings.
