Synopsis for "How I Spent My Summer Vacation"

Lois Lane runs to rescue Wanda, a dog trapped in a fire in Lucy Lane's apartment. She manages to escape through the window with the help of the firemen and Superman. Lois reunites with Lucy and invites her to stay in her apartment for the weekend. Both remember their childhood while they eat pizza and watch a movie, and Lois reminds Lucy of the time she forced her to go to the Daily Planet to get a job.

In a flashback, Lois Lane encounters Perry White and tells him about the day they met on a scholar trip to the Daily Planet [1]. Pretending to be nineteen, she tries to convince Perry to allow her to work as a reporter, and Lucy interrupts her and gives away that she is only fifteen. Perry brushes the two girls off and tells Lois to come back in ten years. As they leave, two reporters pass by talking about Lex Luthor being out of reach for any reporter to get the scope on his schemes.

That night, Lois decides to sneak out of her house and sneak in at LexCorp to get some evidence and impress Perry White. She gets inside Lex's office and steals some random papers she found on his desk, but she is chased and captured by his personnel. The security staff strips Lois's in search of any hidden pockets where she could have kept any of Luthor's documents. But they find nothing, and Luthor kicks her off. Luthor was intrigued by this little girl and says he'd like to meet her again in ten years, but he'll content himself with the recorded videotape of the security staff stripping her clothes. Outside, Lois takes a piece of paper she stuffed in her mouth. The girl goes back to her house and finds Lucy watching a movie and eating pizza.

Back in the present-day, Lois says she didn't know what was on that piece of paper, but it was something that impressed Perry White and convinced him that she was the kind of reporter he wanted working for him.
