Wrestling Across The Multiverse, abbreviated WAM, is an interplanetary professional wrestling promotion showcasing wrestlers from across the galaxy.

History

Like professional wrestling on Earth, WAM makes use of over-the-top characters, scripted feuds, Faces and Heels; but unlike Earth wrestling the actual matches are real. WAM attracts the toughest fighters around, and the violence of their product has led to them being outlawed by the Guardians of the Universe. To prevent the Green Lantern Corps shutting them down, WAM's mobile headquarters The Hub randomly teleports around the universe to broadcast from different "arenas", usually planets facing an apocalyptic disaster. Wrestlers are sent from the ship to the planet's surface via transmat beams. They ensure the surrounding area is cleared before the fights begin, and repair everything after they leave.
