Wandjina

Wandjina the Thunderer is an alien superhero from the planet Angor with the ability to control weather. He is a member of the Champions of Angor. His name is taken from the cloud and rain spirits in Australian Aboriginal mythology. The Champions are an homage to the Avengers superhero team published by Marvel Comics, and Wandjina is an analogue of Marvel's Thor. His Earth 8 counterpart is named Wundajin.

Wandjina was created by Mike Friedrich and Dick Dillin, first appearing in Justice League of America #87 (1971).
