An enigmatic person calling herself Xanukhara came into conflict with the Blackhawks, amid the chaos of World War II.
History
Nobody then knew where she came from; nobody now knows where she went. But both before and after their encounter, Xanukhara, and her rivals and her agents, committed many murders in their attempts to gain possession of a particular brown leather briefcase. Blackhawk himself had once had custody this briefcase. It was Blackhawk's understanding that it contained the entire predetermined plan for human existence.
In 1942, the Blackhawk Squadron searched the world, from London to Amsterdam to Washington, D.C. to Quake Island to Tokyo, searching for the extremely mysterious Xanukhara. They believed, incorrectly, that Xanukhara was in possession of the briefcase. Xanukhara was not, at that time, actually in possession of that briefcase, but she had been, and soon was again. In Borneo, Indonexia, she murdered a few of her briefcase-seeking rivals, and re-stole that brown leather briefcase.
The Blackhawks caught up with her in Mandapore, "City of Mystery," in the heart of occupied China. There Xanukhara made a proposition to Blackhawk, that they should partner up and rule the world. Blackhawk violently spurned her advances, grabbed the briefcase, and threw it into a fireplace. An inexplicable explosion knocked down everybody in the room, and when Blackhawk got back up, both the briefcase and Xanukhara were gone.
