History
The people of the kingdom of Xebel are a breakaway civilization of Atlanteans who traditionally harbor animosity towards the main kingdom of Atlantis
New Earth
Some eons after the fall of Atlantis, Xebel distanced itself to form its own undersea community, one that developed a warlike xenophobia towards their neighboring kingdom and the surface world. Xebel warred with Atlantis for centuries until they were eventually beaten and sentenced to life imprisonment within Dimension Aqua, located within the Bermuda Triangle.[2]
From then on, royalty within their hierarchy treated their long standing hatred of Atlanteans as the basis of their myths and the very reason of being of their race for generations to come.[3] Millennia after their confinement, the king of Xebel sent his daughter Mera out into the world in order to find and assassinate the future king, Orin of Atlantis.[4][5] Instead, Mera fell in love with him, becoming his queen and bride as he took the throne.[6]
With their initial plan having failed, the Xebelians enacted several more plans against the throne through proxies.[7]

Powers and Abilities
Powers

- Amphibious Nature: Xebelians are capable of breathing while submerge underwater, possessing a set of gills on their body.[8]
- Superhuman Strength: Because they live in some of the deepest parts of the ocean, Atlantean bodies are capable of moving with ease even with 1086 (approximately over half a ton) pounds of pressure applied to them.[9] They possess muscle density ten times that of a human being.[8]
- Superhuman Durability: Xebelians can withstand the pressure of the ocean with ease[9], their skin is considered nearly bullet-proof[8], and they are naturally resistant against heat and energy.[10]
- Enhanced Senses: Xebelians possess natural senses attuned for living in the ocean, granting them a natural advantage on land.[11]
- Enhanced Hearing: Xebelian's hearing is more acute than a ordinary human.
- Enhanced Vision: Their vision allows them to see in the dark depths of the ocean.
- Enhanced Sense of Smell: Xebelians possess a more keen sense of smell compared to ordinary humans.
- Superhuman Speed: They are capable of moving, reacting, running and swimming at superhuman speeds.[11]
- Superhuman Agility: Xebelians perfect balance, bodily coordination, and/or perfect equilibrium to a point far in excess to that of a normal human being on Earth, their bodies being able to coordinate easily while under the pressure of the ocean.[11]
