Xelandra (Superman 1988 TV Series)

She was arrested by an alien law officer named Argan eons ago. Argan was placed in suspended animation along with Xelandra as the space journey to the destination would take many years. The ship was damaged by a meteor shower and crashed to Earth, where S.T.A.R. found it and investigated its interior in the presence of Superman, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen. Jimmy inadvertently triggered the systems that woke up the two aliens. First Xelandra woke up and stealthily donned a spacesuit and began spreading Kyryni eggs across Metropolis. From them hatched terrible monsters, with enough force to keep Superman trapped in their claws. At first there was confusion between who would be the agent of the law and who would be the prisoner. But soon Xelandra showed herself as the real villain. Superman's x-ray vision activated the Kyryni's incubation, but his freezing breath may returns them to their egg forms, which was fundamental for the defeat of Xelandra. With Xelandra now apprehended, Argan says goodbye to Superman and his friends, taking his ship to its destination.
