White Witch is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
History
Xola Aq is from Naltor,[1] but she has spent most of the 31st Century training in the cosmomystic arts on the planet Zerox. On the "Sorcerer's World", under the dark-arts training of her five instructors, she became one of the most accomplished sorceresses of her era. She was so proud of that fact until she discovered that her birth father is Mordru the Magician, Mordru the Mad, Mordru the Merciless, a secret she was keeping from everyone, even the telepathic powers of Saturn Girl.[2]
Although she was recruited into the Legion by United Planets President R.J. Brande herself, she hates her as much as she hates her father.[2]
During the battle of the combined forces of the Horraz, Mordru and Rogol Zaar against the Legion in New Krypton, the combined action of her, Dream Girl and Saturn Girl proved decisive. At that moment she revealed to her fellow Legionnaires the truth about Mordru being her father.[3]
Powers and Abilities
Powers
- Naltorian Physiology: Although she is a native of Dream Girl's planet, she does not seem to have the dream powers that most Naltorians have.[1]
- Magic: She is trained in the cosmomystic arts on the planet Zerox, the "Sorcerer's World".[2]
- Mind Barrier: She can block Saturn Girl's telepathy from reaching her mind.[2]

Notes
- White Witch was created by E. Nelson Bridwell and Curt Swan, first appearing in Adventure Comics #350. However, in the Post-Rebirth Legion of Super-Heroes continuity White Witch first appeared in Superman (Volume 5) #14 by Brian Michael Bendis and Ivan Reis.
