Synopsis for "One Small Step, Chapter One"
Agent 355, Ampersand, Yorick Brown, and Allison Mann continue to California to get to Mann's laboratory and investigate the gendercide, when Natalya Zamyatin lands with a thud on the top of the train car. Agent&bnsp;355 goes to investigate and the two briefly fight before Yorick shows his face to Natalya. She reveals that she is not there for Yorick, but to retrieve the last cosmonaut, Vladimir, who is on the International Space Station. It is going to ground in Kansas and she is en route to retrieve him. In orbit, he and two American astronauts prepare to re-enter.
Alter Tse'Elon continues hunting for Yorick and learns that the woman who sent her is his mother, Jennifer Brown.
