Synopsis for "Widow's Pass, Part II"

Agent 355, Ampersand, Yorick Brown, and Allison Mann have entered territory held by the right-wing terrorists Sons of Arizona, but have been given a safe place to stay in P. J.'s garage.[1] Allison has left her companions to try to reason with the group, asking for safe passage to her laboratory in San Francisco. They respond to her offer by repeatedly bludgeoning her with a rifle.

Agent 355 realizes that Allison has departed and leaves Yorick with a gun to defend himself while she goes to rescue her. Yorick and P. J. bond as she gives Ampersand a bath and they discuss their lives and dreams for the future. In the terrorist compound, Allison is violently interrogated and one of the members goes off to raid P. J. As Agent 355 frees her, Allison confesses that she thinks she cannot successfully clone the human race back from extinction. While they talk, several of the Sons of Arizona burst in and capture Agent 355.

Back at P. J.'s, there is a rustling and she goes to investigate, leaving Yorick back in the garage, where he hears a gunshot.
