Synopsis for "Ring of Truth, Part V of V"
Toyota has finally succeeded in stealing Ampersand.[1] She has made it out of Allison Mann's laboratory, but Agent 355 can follow her using the same tracking device that Hero Brown followed to find them. Yorick Brown runs out to catch her and Agent 355 finds him, telling him not to go it alone. They catch up with the thief on the Golden Gate Bridge after Ampersand howls. Agent 355 and Toyota fight, with Agent 355 severely wounded. Hero Brown shows up just in time to save her brother's life. Toyota disappears with the monkey.
The Browns manage to drag the mortally-wounded Agent 355 back to the laboratory. The next morning, Hero mentions that she is taking a stool sample back to the hot suite in Kansas, where geneticists can see if they can synthesize a method for Ciba Weber's son to leave the safe environment. The siblings share a tearful goodbye and reconcile.
Allison, Agent 355, and Yorick follow the transponder to San Diego, where they find that Ampersand has been put on a ship headed to Yokogata, Japan, where Allison's mother lives.
