Synopsis for "Buttons"
Yorick Brown and Allison Mann come running from a jungle in Papua New Guinea to ask for Agent 355 and Rose Copen to save them. They have come across a group of convicts who have resorted to cannibalism and are chasing them as fresh meat.
Agent 355 is stupefied and reminded of her youth. In Detroit, 25 years ago, her father was a tailor and he loved her very much, but the young girl was devastated one day to have her principal pull her aside from class and tell her that her entire family died in a car crash. She enters foster care, where she deftly and violently defends herself against racist teens. She is approached by a woman who wants to recruit her to the Culper Ring, an elite group of spies.
She begins her training and learns how to harness her rage and innate fighting ability. She gets assigned to Agent 1033, who will train her in the field.
Once she is a full member as Agent 86, she has to stop her former mentor from assassinating the president. She fulfills her duty and saves him by killing her.
After she remembers this, she is emboldened to save her friends.
