Synopsis for "The Tin Man"
Allison Mann reflects on her life: the tempestuous relationship between her parents, moving to Los Angeles as a child, and being a rebellious teen. She is disowned by her father and goes through a difficult break up. At Harvard University, she learns that her father is engaged in dangerous and cutting edge genetic experiments. She gets a graduate student to help her experiment by cloning herself and bringing her own clone to term.
In the present day, she is on a ship with Rose Copen and experiences severe vaginal bleeding, which she thinks may be a side effect of her work.
