Synopsis for "Motherland Chapter 1"

Yorick Brown has another dream of his fiancee Beth Deville and it implies that he cannot save or reunite with her. When he awakens, he sees Bonny flirting with Ampersand, as Rose Copen comes to from a stupor. He explains that Allison Mann needs the monkeys to reproduce so she can attempt to use their offspring to save the human race. Once the group arrives in Hong Kong, she will have access to a laboratory and Agent 355 can escort Yorick to France, where he can reunite with Beth.

Agent 355 and Allison shop and Agent 355 learns that Allison's mother is in trouble with Toyota and that Rose is a spy. Agent 355 is incensed and runs back to their safehouse to protect Yorick. Allison doubles over in pain, which she believes is from her genetic engineering experiments that involved her getting pregnant with her own clone.

In New York City, Hero Brown and Natalya Zamyatin protect Beth; Beth, Jr.; Vladimir, Jr.; and Ciba Weber from the Daughters of the Amazon in a firefight. The cult wants to kill Vladimir, Jr. and Yedida Tse'Elon wants him for Israel.

The group in China reconvenes, and Allison reveals her plans to clone 200 males, starting with Yorick, and the rest harvested from the DNA of dead human males. She also overhears Rose deserting her post as a spy and She later collapses as the cumulative side effects of her earlier attempt to clone herself have now become impossible to hide. As she collapses, she begs them to take her to Hong Kong for treatment.
