Synopsis for "Part Two"

Following the discovery of Mary Keeny's skull in Georgia and Professor Pigeon's body in Gotham, Batman and Robin attend a party held by socialite Francesca Dove (really, Marion Keeny under a new name). During the party every guest sees Dove get torn apart by birds, but Batman comes to realize the attack was an illusion and Dove really died from self-inflicted wounds.

Scarecrow has abducted his father Gerald Crane. He ties him to a chair, which is precariously balanced on a steel beam in unfinished building. He injects him with Fear Toxin, and in his fear, Gerald unbalances himself and falls. He is saved by Batman, who has tracked down Jonathan Crane at last.

Robin ingests Fear Toxin and hallucinates two Batmen fighting each other. He attacks the real one, and Scarecrow is able to escape.

Batman knows Scarecrow's next target is his mother, Karen Keeny. He knocks out Robin and returns to Arlen alone. He "fixes" the air condition in Karen's house so that when Scarecrow comes, he alone is affected by the Fear Toxin inside. He hallucinates his great-grandmother. Robin and Alfred arrive in time to witness him run off a cliff, and they presume he died.
