Yolanda Montez is the second Wildcat, god-daughter and successor to Ted Grant. Possessing super-powers unlike her predecessor, she has retractable claws and cat-like agility in addition to her combat prowess. Montez originally took up the mantle during Crisis on Infinite Earths to replace her mentor, although he maintained the position. She was primarily a founding member of Infinity, Inc. and also involved with the Shadow Fighters.
Yolanda Montez was created by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas and Tim Burgard, first appearing in Infinity Inc. #12 (1985).
