Yolanda Montez is the successor of Ted Grant as the Wildcat. She is also a member of the Justice Society of America.

Yolanda Montez took up the mantle of the Wildcat and with Elizabeth Chapel, also known as Doctor Mid-Nite, she was sent by Amanda Waller against the malevolent being Eclipso.[1] She died alongside Chapel, and the pair were buried in the jungles of Parador, in South America.[2]

Yolanda Montez was later erased from the timeline when Doctor Manhattan prevented Alan Scott from becoming the Green Lantern and, as a consequence, his death prevented the creation of the Justice Society of America.[3]

Later, Doctor Manhattan undid his manipulations of the timeline and allowed Alan Scott to become once again the Green Lantern and form the Justice Society. Restored to history and resurrected as part of what would later be recognized as a precursor quake to the Lazarus eruption[2], she fought alongside the JSA side by side with her predecessor, Ted Grant, helping Superman defeat the metahumans who were ravaging Washington, D.C..[4] Despite her resurrection, Montez was forced to take Lazarus Resin pills to stay alive and resist Eclipso's influence,[5] to which she eventually succumbed, driving her to seek revenge against Waller.[1]
